The Assam University Research Scholars' Forum is a dedicated platform created by and for research scholars at Assam University. Established in 2009, our mission is to amplify the voices of research scholars, advocate for their rights, and address critical issues such as Non-NET and other fellowships disbursement and ensuring a smooth completion of PhD programs.

Objectives

Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of research scholars, addressing issues related to stipends, facilities, and other aspects that contribute to their well-being.

Professional Development: Organize events, conferences, and training sessions that contribute to the professional development of research scholars, preparing them for future careers in academia or industry.

Social and Cultural Integration: Arrange social and cultural activities to promote diversity and inclusion, helping research scholars integrate into the academic and local community.

Objectives

Communication: Establish effective communication channels to disseminate information, updates, and opportunities relevant to research scholars.

Representation: Serve as a representative body to express the collective concerns and suggestions of research scholars to the university administration or relevant authorities.
